Recognizing the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect vulnerable communities, the City has implemented a comprehensive set of programs and projects to combat climate change and enhance resilience.

The Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) announced today that a total of 212 people who live and work at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Cambridge have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Cambridge Public Health Department’s Health Promotion Mini-Grant Program will award up to $20,000 in total funding to projects from community organizations, schools, businesses, garden and farm programs, and government agencies that serve Cambridge.

CDD has completed its annual update to the stock of affordable housing units in the city.  There are now 8,931 affordable housing units in the city, a net increase of 340 affordable units from the 2023 total of 8,591 units.
