Camp Rainbow serves Cambridge residents with disabilities, ages 6-22. Camp Rainbow is an annual summer camp serving Cambridge young people with disabilities, ages 6-22. Camp Rainbow's mission is to enhance the lives of its participants by providing a recreational experience that emphasizes their abilities. 49 Sixth St Launch Event
On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, leaders from the City of Cambridge and the Commonwealth gathered with nonprofit Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) to mark the beginning of renovations at the former Sacred Heart church rectory and school in East Cambridge. By the end of 2027, POAH plans to complete construction on the property, which will create 46 new permanently affordable apartment homes.
October Climate Committee Meeting
The Cambridge Climate Committee (CCC) advises the City Manager on local climate change policy. This will be a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting.
