Stretch Energy Code 2023
on January 23, 2023, the City 01 Cambridge adopted the commonwealth 01 Massachusetts's new
Municipal Opt-in Specialized Stretch Energy Code, ioining the communities 01 Brookline and
Watertown. The code, which goes into ellect in Cambridge on July 1, 2023, is to support the City's
Net zero goals.
MCBA Book Group (Central Square)
Did you know you can vote for a winner in the Massachusetts Children's Book Award each year? Join us the 1st Wednesday of each month as we read and discuss some of the MCBA nominated books. Cast your vote for your favorite nominated title, right here at the library. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th and 6th grade (or equivalent ages). Registration is required. STEAM in the Early Years
The Cambridge STEAM Initiative and the Cambridge Office of Early Education (OEC) sponsor a "STEAM in the Early Years" workshop series, which includes data-driven research and hands-on activities that reinforce the importance of encouraging STEAM identity development in our youngest learners.
