The City of Cambridge recently presented the 2024 Fresh Pond Stewardship Award to two former City of Cambridge Leaders, retired Deputy City Manager Lisa Peterson and retired Managing Director of Cambridge Water Department Stephen “Sam” Corda. Both recipients were honored for their long-standing commitment to and love for Fresh Pond Reservation.

Get back to school with these DIY journals! Learn how to make a journal from scratch and decorate it with cut outs, pictures, and 3D pieces to make it pop. Junk journals are an interactive and creative project that helps you keep track of all your favorite events and memories. You'll see examples of different techniques and get to make your own! Please join us for a discussion related to vision changes in older adults. Presented by the Carroll Center for the Blind, the program will feature a Low Vision Therapist to discuss common age-related vision conditions and early detection as well as a Technology Specialist who will demonstrate tools for using your phone with greater ease along with other assistive devices. Registration is requested, but not required.
