The Community Development Department’s Economic Development Division has launched a data dashboard to help new and longtime Cambridge business owners access market research and understand the city’s business climate.

Explore the Small Business Data Dashboard

The dashboard displays data from Cambridge's local business market in accessible graph, chart, and text formats. As part of the City's ongoing efforts to support and enhance Cambridge's retail environment through the Retail Strategic Plan, the dashboard will help local businesses access business climate data including major business costs, customer base demographics, development indicators, and more. The dashboard also links to license and permitting information and other small business resources available through the City. 

The dashboard will be an instrumental resource for small businesses to understand and adapt to Cambridge’s business landscape and market themselves online and offline to grow their business and customer base.
