Giacobbe Dog Run

The Giacobbe Dog Run (formerly Pemberton Street Dog Run), an enclosed area behind the Anderson Courts, has been designated for use as a dedicated off leash area.

Users of the off leash area are required to follow the City’s off leash rules and regulations, and are encouraged to practice off leash etiquette. The rules and regulations are posted at the entrance to the off leash area.

Please note that dogs are only allowed off leash in the enclosed dog run area, and must remain on leash and under owner control within all other areas of the surrounding parks.

This project has been completed. No further updates to this project page will be made.

City staff will be on site for drop-in sessions at the off leash area to discuss the anticipated improvements to the off leash area and answer questions about off leash dogs in Cambridge.

Please feel free to stop by:

  • Wednesday, May 24, 2016, 7:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
  • Wednesday, June 1, 2016, 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. (postponed from Tuesday, May 23)

The Giacobbe Dog Run is open for use.
