Affordable Housing Information Sessions
Learn about the City's Affordable Rental and Home Ownership Programs at information sessions presented by the Housing Division.

The free information sessions are held remotely twice a month – most months – via Zoom. The first hour is a presentation on the City's affordable rental programs, while the second hour is a presentation on the City's affordable homeownership programs.

Participants can learn more about the eligibility requirements and application process for various Cambridge Rental and Homeownership Programs, including:

⏹ Inclusionary Housing Rental Program for studios, 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR units throughout Cambridge
⏹ Homeownership Resale Pool
⏹ First-Time Homebuyer Workshop
⏹ HomeBridge

Down Payment Assistance

The City of Cambridge offers down payment and closing cost assistance to income-eligible first-time homebuyers purchasing a home in Cambridge. Buyers may be eligible for assistance of up to $10,000 towards the purchase. If you would like to discuss further, contact the Housing Department at 617-349-4622 or homeownership@cambridgema.gov.
