10-Week Business Planning Program Returns

The City of Cambridge Community Development Department is accepting applications for the 10-Week Business Planning Program. This free program covers information about financing, marketing techniques, business plan development, and honing a business pitch. At the end of the program, participants will have developed a full business plan and have an opportunity to pitch their business concept to a jury of entrepreneurship experts. 

This program is free for up to 12 eligible Cambridge residents and/or business owners. The deadline to apply is Monday, February 14, 2022 at 5 p.m. Click here to access the pre-screening application. Applicants must also register for and attend the prerequisite “Steps to Starting Your Own Business” workshop on February 14, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. 

Classes will be held virtually on Mondays from February 28 to May 9, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Please confirm your availability before applying. 

This program is funded through Community Development Block Grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), so eligibility is based on HUD guidelines. Please read the Eligibility Guidelines for more information about whether you might qualify for this program.
