AFCOST Receives Grant to Pilot Program for OST Educators
The Cambridge Agenda for Children Out-of-School-Time (AFCOST) has been selected by the Commonwealth’s Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD) to receive a $100,000 grant to fund a new registered apprenticeship program that will train a cohort of 25 out-of-school time (OST) staff.

OST Expansion Study
The City of Cambridge, in partnership with Cambridge Public Schools, has released the Cambridge Out-of-School Time (OST) Expansion Study Report. The purpose of the study is to better understand the unmet need in Cambridge by fully examining the demand for afterschool seats and the current capacity to meet that demand.

Time Out for Public Art Tour: East Cambridge Neighborhood
Join us for a guided 60-minute art tour featuring public artwork in East Cambridge and learn about how Cambridge Arts commissions and maintains art for public enjoyment. We will visit three public artworks, and two sidewalk poems. Meet at Centanni Park between the Multicultural Arts Center and the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds. This event is part of our Time Out for Public Art series in collaboration with Cambridge Arts. In October, these will be 60-minute art tours where we visit multiple sites as a group.
