Cambridge to Launch Hampshire Street Safety Improvement Project
Through the Hampshire Street Safety Improvement Project, the City will add separated bike lanes to Hampshire Street between Inman Square and Broadway, creating a more comfortable biking connection between Inman Square and the Port/Kendall Square. We will also make improvements to existing crosswalks and changes to parking and loading.

City of Cambridge to Allow Fitness Centers to Operate at 40% Capacity. Additional City Restrictions Continue to Apply
The City of Cambridge announced that effective immediately, fitness centers and health clubs shall adhere to the capacity limits set by Governor Baker and are no longer restricted to 25% capacity.

Fun Skate Teaches Skating Skills to Elementary Students
Fun Skate, an annual program offered by Recreation and Cambridge Public Schools, provides weekly skating lessons to Cambridge public elementary school students. This year, Fun Skate expects to serve close to 800 children through a program expansion that includes weekly visits to 2nd grade classrooms as part of Physical Education curriculum.
