Interactive Live and Online Workshops!

The Economic Opportunity and Development Division works with the Cambridge Community Television (CCTV), Center for Women and Enterprise, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, SCORE Boston, Growth with Google, and local organizations to provide business development programs and services to Cambridge residents, entrepreneurs, and businesses.

Please note - Registrations close 2 HOURS BEFORE the workshop begins (unless otherwise noted below). Classes may be cancelled or postponed due to lack of registration. Please call the Division at 617/349-4637 to check the status of a workshop.

Succession Planning Pilot Program

  • Date: May 8, May 15, May 23, and May 30, 2024
  • Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
  • Location: Online on Zoom and in-person at CDD, 344 Broadway, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA
  • Have you thought about how to transfer your business to someone new? Succession planning means getting ready to give control of your business to someone else, like a family member, an employee, or another entrepreneur. The Succession Planning Pilot Program is four workshops that will help you take the steps you need to make your own exit plan. 
  • Free to Cambridge business owners. Registration is closed. 

Intermediate Social Media Strategy Workshop Series

  • Date: Wednesdays - May 22, May 29, June 5, and June 12, 2024
  • Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
  • Location: In person at CCTV, 438 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 
  • Description: Have a social media presence for your business and interested in taking it to the next level? In these four (4) sessions you'll hone your social media strategy and grow your audience. Participants are expected to have an already established social media presence for their business and / or have completed the Beginner Social Media Strategy Winter Series. We will be doing hands-on, project-based activities in class. Come prepared with your own devices. Instructor is Vinny Prezioso.
