Walden Square II
Walden Square II is an affordable infill development being proposed by WinnCompanies, the owner of Walden Square Apartments, a 240-unit affordable development in North Cambridge. Walden Square II would involve the new construction of 100+ affordable units on existing a portion of the existing parking lot. The new housing would include a large number of family-sized units, including both 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom apartments. WinnCompanies also anticipates making site upgrades to improve pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular connectivity.
This project is being pursued under provisions of the Affordable Housing Overlay (AHO).
